We had such an awesome time spending the day at Grandfather Mountain! We live a little over 2 hours from the mountains, so we thought we would spend a nice Sunday with a picnic and nature hike. One of the really neat things about Grandfather Mountain, is that there is a bridge that is 1 mile above sea level that you can walk across. It was neat to climb on top of a mountain that offered some great views!!
