Today for our Christmas ABC book, we did the letter D for Decorating a Christmas Tree! We actually decorated Christmas Tree Waffles in the morning, which Hayden really enjoyed... they turned out super tasty using fruit for ornaments/lights, bacon for the trunk, and yogurt for snow! :)
We also had fun decorating a Gingerbread Tree... hopefully Tanner won't eat this one like he did our Halloween Haunted House!
Can't decorate a tree, with out a cool Christmas Tree hat! :)

This is so adorable! You are quite creative! I love how the fruit is the "ornaments."
Did you use food coloring to dye your waffle? What a neat idea! THANKS for sharing!
Yes, I used Wilton's Kelly Green. :)
This is so cute! I would love for you to link to my Christmas Traditions link up!
Super cute, my co-worker has tried this several times and her waffles come out brown, what is your "trick" for green waffles??? Can you please give detailed instructions including the waffle mix. TFS
Such a cute idea for the holidays!!!

I used the Wilton Kelly Green Food Coloring. I also used Krusteez Belgian Waffle box mix, fruit for the ornaments/stars, and bacon for the stem. It doesn't show it in this picture, but we always eat our waffles with yogurt vs. syrup, so I drizzled vanilla yogurt on it as "snow/icicles". :)
