Today, we were celebrating Aviation day! After a muffin tin Aviation breakfast & reading a few airplane book, we head to a local airport to watch some planes take off. Hayden was most excited about the mini-gas station they had at the airport. :)
We were then going to head to the aviation museum, but never made it. Instead, we stopped at a few local events; there was a car show downtown that Jake and Hayden wanted to stop at, but one of the cars did have an airplane on the hood of the car so that worked in aviation day :). We also stopped at a farm that was having their annual Farm Days. Aside from feeding the horses and taking a tractor hay ride, they were launching corncobs with parachutes that also tied into our theme day (yes, a stretch, but still worked). Then we headed home to make our airplanes and flew them in the backyard!
