Swim Lessons

Hayden started swim lessons today, and did an AWESOME job!  I was a little unsure how he was going to react when I left, but he didn't even flinch.  He happily tried everything the teacher asked; put his face in the water, float on the water noodle, jump in the pool, etc.  Hayden can't wait to go again on Thursday!

I Want to be Like Mike

The next Michael Jordan maybe?  :)  Today, Hayden started his first day of basketball through the park district!  He really likes his coach... mainly because his coach was teaching them how to throw the basketball and say "Bye, Bye Pizza Pie", to the ball as they threw it. He found that pretty funny.

Last Day of T-Ball

Today, was the last day of T-Ball. Hayden has really enjoyed this sport and loved his coach! Parents were able to play today, so Jake took the day off to be there for his last game! Hayden loved showing him all the new moves he has learned the past few weeks!! At the end of the game, all the players received a MVP sports pennant.


 

Preschool Pics, Soccer, and Touching Trucks

Today, was a pretty busy day for Hayden!  We started the morning getting his preschool pictures taken... they turned out so cute, and I will post more soon when I receive the cd!

After his pictures, he had his last day of soccer!  Hayden has made such an improvement with soccer this past summer!  He started his class in June, sitting on the soccer ball crying, and he ended it playing the whole game and smiling/laughing!  Probably helped that the parents were able to play today! :)

They had a little medal ceremony at the end.  Super cute!  Hayden was so proud of his first medal, he wanted to sleep with it! :)

Later in the day, Jake took Hayden to Touch a Truck, which of course was the highlight of his afternoon!

1st Day of T-Ball

Since Hayden's Soccer class is wrapping up, we decided to sign him up for
T-ball next!  Today, was his first day and he did a great job!!!  I think the funniest part happened half-way through the class.  Hayden saw flowers in the grass, he ran and picked one, then yelled across the field, "Mommy, I have a flower for you."  Although, he should have been focused on the class, I still found it absolutely adorable!!

Soccer Time

Hayden is halfway through his Soccer Class! He has shown so much growth since his first day!! Hayden is really starting to break out of his shell and seems to be having a lot of fun!!

First Day of Soccer

Today was Hayden's first day of Soccer! He did a nice job... Maybe the next David Beckham?

Gymnastics

Hayden has started a Gymnastics class on Saturday morning.  He seems to really be enjoying himself.  He likes to do somersaults and play on the trapeze.  After he "swings", he lets himself go and falls into a pit of foam blocks.
