National Ice Cream Day

What a fun day to celebrate!!!  We had ice cream galore!!  We started the morning with a yummy build your own breakfast sundae... aka...yogurt/fruit parfait. :) Later in the day, we went to White Water Ice Cream for lunch :) (which is new in Yorkville)... VERY YUMMY!!  Hayden had cotton candy ice cream... it actually tasted just like cotton candy!  We did a few crafts with ice cream stickers & stamps.  Then after dinner, we made our own ice cream in a bag!  Poor Daddy had to do most of the shaking, but tasted pretty good!
(granola, vanilla yogurt, shortbread, bananas, blueberries & strawberries)

Your tin looks delicious. No way could I sell it to my daughter as "ice cream", but she'd love it all the same! :)

National Ice Cream day!? We celebrated without even knowing! Played with my daughter's new playdough icecream set and then made homemade drumstick icecream treats!
Love your idea.

Well, hubby and I had a shake after the kids went to bed, will that count as a proper observation of National Ice cream day? Sounds like you had a great day. Everything looks awesome.
