Happy Belated 5th Birthday, Cousin Roary!

Today, we went to Cousin Roary's Army-themed birthday party!   The kiddos enjoyed the nice weather outside in the bouncer, as well as "driving" the car. :)  Inside they enjoyed pin the army tank, and some yummy birthday cake!

Fall Farm Festival

Although, the weather wasn't the greatest, we were able to get some "rain-free" time at the farm to celebrate Fall!  Hayden and Chandler both enjoyed the tractor ride and sitting on all the tractors.  My favorite part was making the squirrel food!!

After naptime, we went for ice cream and hit up some more parks, then bath & booktime with Aunt Crystal.

 

First Day of Fall with Cousin Chandler

Today, we celebrated the first day of Fall. The weather was beautiful, so after our Fall breakfast, we took cousin Chandler on a park hop... and spent most of our time at the Firetruck Park and Train Park.  After naptime, we played in the sandtable, the prop box, Limbo, construction trucks, & horses!  Then we decided to start a new tradition and make a Thanksgiving-like dinner to celebrate the beginning of Autumn.  Hayden enjoyed drinking out of an apple, while Chandler enjoyed the cresent rolls. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Cousin Chandler!

We had a lot of fun celebrating Chandler's 2nd Birthday!!  Hayden loved the bouncer and yummy pb&j birthday cake!!  I can't believe he is already two! :(

Family Movie Night: Yogi Bear & Cousin Party

Tonight we had all 4 of the Mezger clan spend the night, while their Mom and Dad went out for their anniversary.  We had a Yogi Bear/Camping theme night!  The boys played in the tent, went on a picnic basket hunt (just like Yogi), played with silly string & water blasters, cooked s'mores, and watched the Yogi Bear movie. 

I love how the next morning, none of them were in the tent anymore! :)

Family Easter Party

Today, we had our cousins over for an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter dinner!  We had a lot of fun, although I am a little bummed that I didn't take a lot of pictures :(. 

Spring Break Cousin Sleepover

Hayden has been so excited after he found out that his cousins were going to spend the night over Spring Break!  We picked them up bright & early, and headed to the Shedd Aquarium.  Although it was insanely crowded due to a lot of schools being on break, we still had a lot of fun!  Some of the highlights were watching a scuba diver feed the fish, seeing an Anemone (where Nemo lived), the puffer fish and giant Spider Crab, as well as a quick visit to the gift shop!

After we left the aquarium, we stopped at Chili's for some yummy lunch and then headed to Airtastic to bounce away some energy before heading home!

After our nap/quiet time, we had a fun movie night!  We had a Chipmunks themed dinner, then headed to the Rutherford Drive-In! :)

Living on a Prayer

Hayden spent some time with Aunt Nikki, Uncle Corey, and Cousin Chandler tonight, while Mommy & Daddy went out for a yummy dinner in Chicago at Rosebuds, and then saw an AWESOME Bon Jovi Concert!  Although, Hayden said he also had an awesome time at the Simons' house decorating cookies, having a sword fight with uncle Corey, going out for pizza and ice cream, as well as a trip to the toy store!  When I figure out how to upload pictures from my phone that Nikki texted me, I will post them.  For now, I just have some pics. from the concert! :)
