After arriving home really late Thursday night, I was greeted by Jake with a fire pit & s'mores waiting for me, as well as a clean house!! Thank You, Jake, that was very sweet!! :) The next morning, I gave Hayden some neat souvenirs that I found in Florida for him; a shark's tooth, a mini-palm tree, a conch shell, and Florida pen. He liked the conch shell the best... I told him the story about when I was little, every time my grandma came back from Florida she would bring back a conch shell and told us if we listened carefully, we could hear the ocean... Hayden loved that story as much as I did when I was younger.
After giving Hayden his goodies, we spent the afternoon at the pool! I love that Hayden's new favorite thing is sticking his head underwater and grabbing the diving sticks... huge difference from the beginning of the summer!
