Today, we spent the morning coloring eggs for the big day tomorrow! We tried a few new techniques with stickers and rubber bands that turned out pretty neat!!
Tonight before bed, Hayden wrote the Easter Bunny a letter and drew a cute little pic of Peter Cottontail! :)
Then he set out his basket, letter, the eggs, and of course yummy carrots for our visitor!! Hayden was so excited! I wish I could just bottle it up, because it is such genuine excitement!!
Jake proved once again, what an AWESOME dad he is!! After spending some time putting together Hayden's new bike for Easter, he found out it was defective. He was adamant about Hayden having a bike tomorrow morning, so he went out at 11:30 to Meijer's and Wal-Mart to find a new bike! After calling me and having me read different reviews about the bicycles(typical Jake :), he came back home at 12:15 and started to assemble the 2nd bike!! We are very lucky to have such a Caring Dad!!!
