Hayden'isms

Unfortunately, the Rutherford Home has been hit with the sick bug :(.  The past few days, we have been trying to recover from the first flu of the season, so not a lot of pictures.  Instead, I thought it would be a good time to document some of the funny comments from Hayden lately!! :)

As we were reading a book from the library about a little boy who had a baby sister, Hayden had a few questions...
Hayden:  "Mommy, can I have a baby brother or sister?"
Mommy: "Hopefully some day, maybe in a year or two."
Hayden:  "Mommy, can I have one tomorrow?"
Mommy: "No, it takes a while for a Mommy to grow a baby."
Hayden: "Can I grow a baby?"
Mommy: "No, only Mommy's can grow a baby."
Hayden:  "How does a Mommy get to grow a baby?"
Mommy: "Umm... ask Daddy when he gets home." :)... Didn't think that question was going to be asked for at least a few more years. LOL!

After going to the apple orchard last week, Hayden has been enjoying some fresh apple cider, however he likes to refer to it as "Appletizer" :)

The other morning, as I was getting him dressed, Hayden was being silly and kept trying to tickle my feet.  He stopped, and was looking at the bottom of them and asked,
Hayden: "Mommy, were you playing in the sand?"
Mommy:  "No, Why do you ask?"
Hayden: "Because you have sand all over your feet."
Mommy: "No, Mommy just really needs a pedicure."     That comment cracked me up!! :)

On our way home from preschool,  Hayden and I always talk about what his favorite part was at school and something new that he learned.  Typically, when I ask him his favorite part, he always says, "playing with the Cozy Coupe Car or singing a new song."
When I asked him what was one new thing that he learned, I was expecting him to say the letter of the day or a new book that he read, but instead he said, "I learned that my teacher always wears the same shirt.  She always wears the shirt with flowers on it.  Why does she do that?"   Well, at least he's observant! :)  However, in defense of his teacher, it isn't the same shirt, she just wears a lot of shirts with flower patterns.  Too funny!!
