Back to School Aisle... A Whole New Meaning

Typically,  for the past 11 years, I would boycott the Target's Back to School Aisle until at least the beginning of August.  Then I would slowly start stockpiling sale items for my upcoming school year.  However, today when Hayden and I were at Target the Back to School aisle didn't scare me ;).
This was the first time, probably since before I started at Concordia Univ. many years ago, that I wasn't shopping for upcoming lessons.  I was shopping for Hayden... and his upcoming school year at Preschool!

About two weeks ago, his Preschool sent a letter home that included a school supply list for Hayden and a wish list for their classroom.  So I thought I would slowly start stockpiling for their wish list (and my craft closet :).  There was also a Hot Wheel Bookbag that caught Hayden's eye.  Since, it was on sale, I figured I would purchase it now vs. taking the chance that they would be gone next month.

I didn't realize that when we arrived home, Hayden would be so excited to try it on and I would be so sad seeing my little guy wearing a book bag for PRESCHOOL! :(
