Today, we had our first visit with Hayden's new ENT (ear, nose, throat doctor). The good news, is that one tube is still in, the other we aren't sure if it is still in place. Hayden had a lot of wax build-up, which caused the tube to be blocked (if it is still in). We have to put special drops in his ear for the next 10 days to release some of the wax, and we will then return back to the ENT in two weeks.
I was SO proud of Hayden! Lately, due to the reoccuring ear infections, Hayden does NOT like when the doctors poke at his ears... the last doctor visit didn't go well because of this and resulted in many tears and stubborness (that he gets from Jake of course). I was dreading this visit, but Hayden shocked me! He was such a good boy, didn't cry at all, and even said Thank you to the doctor when we were leaving :).
I am keeping my fingers crossed that the March 19th visit has more positive news!!
