I love some of our conversations with Hayden! I need to get better at writing some of them down, before I forget. I had some funny comments to add from this week, but of course, I can't remember all of them, only a few...
- "Uh, oh Mommy, my sock broke!" (hole in sock)
-"Mommy, why is the moon following us?" (he has said this a few times in the last year, and it never gets old.) On our way home last night, when we came to a stop, he would say, "The moon stopped following us." Then as we started driving again, "Mommy, why is the moon following us again?"
-On our way home today, he was looking out the window. I asked him if he was tired, his response, "No, Mommy, I am just watching the clouds play." (Super cute on a party cloudy evening. He said he saw the clouds turn into dumptrucks and tractors.)
-"Steppin' on Leprechauns, boom, boom! Steppin' on Leprechauns, boom, boom!" (He heard the song Boom, Boom, Pow! and of course with St. Patrick's Day this past week, the minute he heard the word leprechaun in a song, he constantly wants to sing it. Funny, because I never noticed that part of the song, but it's in there.)
-My personal favorite today... "Mommy... Daddy is old. I'm not old, you aren't old, Mommy... But Daddy is old!" :)
