Today we started the morning with some festive "flag" waffles. :) After our patriotic breakfast, thankfully we were able to get in some bike riding before the stormy weather started. :( Although it rained, that didn't stop our "cook-out"... Jake was a trooper and still grilled for us. We had fun making a yummy flag cake and having a corn-on-the-cob eating contest... Jake won by a landslide!

After dinner we created our 2012 Summer Sand Pail List. Looking forward to our
first summer in NC!
