We started the day off with a yummy green breakfast... compliments of Jake. He made green pancakes, green scrambled eggs, and kiwi. :). Before we headed out for the day, Hayden left some skittles in his leprechaun trap, in hopes of one last chance to catch him! Then we headed to an awesome place in Charlotte called White Water Center. They have hiking trails, rock walls, ziplines, ropes courses and rapids! They had a fun celebration that included Irish Music, a leprechaun, and a 'turning the rapids green' ceremony.
After spending some time watching everyone brave the green rapids, Hayden and Jake tried their hand at Rock Climbing. I was so proud of Hayden for giving it a good try. I felt bad, because he was so hard on himself for not getting to the top of the wall like Jake did, but he can try again next year! :)

After a fun day at the rapids, we enjoyed a yummy Irish dinner out, and headed home. To Hayden's surprise, his skittles in the trap helped... although he didn't catch anything, he did find a trail of gold that lead to a bag of goodies from the leprechaun. :)
