Today, we had a wonderful time celebrating Hayden's 5th birthday!! We started the day with a few surprises! Since Hayden first moved to his big boy bed, he has been asking if could have breakfast in bed, so what better day to let him than his birthday, so we woke him up with a donut/candle... he was so happy! :) We also had a few more surprises that included birthday wishes written on his bathroom mirror, a present full of balloons, and a decorated door that he had to break-through.
Another surprise on his birthday, was Jake and I going to his preschool to eat lunch with him and bring Rice Krispie treats for his class! So thankful his teacher has a neat tradition!! :)
After preschool, we decided to take Hayden to the Nascar Speedpark for some Birthday fun. Aside from a mini-train ride and arcades. Hayden was also able to drive his first go-kart all by himself! Couldn't think of a better present for him... he was so proud of himself!
To wrap-up Hayden's 5th birthday celebration, we headed home for presents, cake, and a few
Outer Space activities!
