This weekend, we went to Nikki & Corey's house to celebrate Jake running the Chicago Marathon!! They were gracious hosts, and made the event even more fun!! Jake did an AWESOME job, and beat his last year's time by 42 minutes!!! This year he finished in 3 hours, 26 minutes, and 1 second! We are SOOOO unbelievably proud of you Jake! Your committment and dedication is awesome! Hayden is so very lucky to have such a great role model!
Jake stopped at the 15-mile mark to give us some sweaty hugs!!
Hayden was very excited to see Daddy at the end, as well as super proud of him!!
Marathons can be exhausting! :)
