Hayden was so cute this morning when I woke him up! He was so happy (which is rare, because he is just like his Mommy, and hates to be woken up in the morning). Hayden kept insisting that he watched a show during his nap. After a few minutes of asking him to repeat himself, I figured out what he ment... this was our conversation:
Hayden: Mommy, I watched a show during my nap.
Mommy: What?
Hayden: I watched a show during my nap!
Mommy: You did? What kind of show?
Hayden: The show had me, and you, and Daddy, and Fumble and your car. The show had two of your cars.
Mommy: Really? (long pause, while I tried to figure out what show that was ;) Oh, you mean you had a dream last night when you were sleeping?
Hayden: No, I watched a show.
Mommy: That is called a dream. When you are sleeping, and you see things in your head that looks like a show or movie is a dream.
Hayden: I watched a Dream show. We were running after your car, Mommy. There were two of your cars, two. We were running at your car to get your coat, so we could play with trains. It was fun, Mommy. I want to watch another show during my nap!
The dialouge that I typed doesn't do justice for our conversation this morning! But I can assure you, it was absolutely adorable! He kept wanting to talk about his "show" and was in his play room telling his hot wheels all about it!
