A little over a month...

A little over a month, and our little man will be here!  I am feeling bigger than a house, and laugh to myself as a waddle down the hallways at work.  His bedroom is finished, and am ready for my maternity leave to begin in a few weeks at work!

 We have been frequent visitors at Red Robin due to my cravings.  There is a waitress that we have every time... needless to say, she knows our orders by heart.  She also always throws in a free sundae for Hayden!

 My shopping buddy... he wants a murse to put his hot wheels and rocks into it.  This was the only orange one they had. :)

 Sunday morning tradition is pancakes at IHOP. :)

My favorite part about working this year, is having Hayden in my classroom after school.  He LOVED reading in my class library!

Ugh... 3-hour Glucose Test

 Unfortunately, just like I did with Hayden, I had to take the 3-hour Glucose test... true torture.  Thankfully, Jake was sweet enough to sit with me at the doctor's office to keep me company.  Afterwards, I treated myself to a yummy shake....hmmm???  Thankfully, I passed. :)

It's Mardi Gras Time!!

Of course we had to celebrate Mardi Gras using some of the goodies Aunt Nikki brought us back from New Orleans.  My favorite part was trying to find the baby in the King Cake.  We said who ever found it, had to change all of Baby Rutherford's diapers once he arrives... needless to say Hayden was not happy when he found it in his cake. :)

Chinese New Year

We celebrated Chinese New Year, by ordering Chinese Food, making snake crafts, and watching Kung Fu Panda part 2.  Shocking, Hayden loves dumplings and edamame. Hayden also received his traditional Red Envelope filled with money for his piggie bank.

Winter Bike Ride

Hands down, the BEST thing about NC is the weather!  Nothing like going on a bike ride in January!  So happy to see Hayden riding without his training wheels!!

It's Snowing in NC

Ironically our first winter in NC, is the first winter in the last few years they had a snowfall!  Hayen loved it!  The nice part is that it snowed, and by the morning it was all melted! :)

Big Brother Class

To help Hayden prepare for his brother we signed him up for a siblings class at the hospital.  He did a great job!  They made a list of ways to help out with the baby, practiced diapering his teddy bear (although he swears he is never touching a dirty diaper), and made his brother a birthday card!  He is going to be a WONDERFUL brother!!

Basketball Time

This winter, Hayden has been on the Waxhaw Basketball League, and Jake was one of the coaches!  They both did a great job, and took 2nd place during the End of Season tournament.

Happy New Year!

We rang in the New Year playing board games, enjoying yummy ice cream sundaes, and writing our New Year Wishes on balloons & then released them oustide. Looking forward to all our new adventures this year!!

Christmas in Illinois

Took a road trip back to Illinois and stayed for a week with Grandma!

We spent the afternoon at Randy & Sheryl's for Christmas dinner, scavenger hunt, and crafts!

We also had fun playing Christmas Win It in a Minute... so bummed my camera broke in the middle of it! So much fun!
