Big Boy Bed Time
So, Hayden is transitioning into a "big boy" bed. Although, it isn't fully a big boy bed yet. We are taking the side off of his crib, and putting in a bed rail. We thought we would make this transition first, before a twin size bed. Either way, he is able to get out of the bed himself... YIKES! This has me super worried!! We also bought a new set of sheets and comforter, that he absolutely loves... of course it has trucks! :)
Bye-Bye Crib!
So far, he looks happy!
Climbing in!
Woo-Hoo! He likes it!
Reading the Book, My Big Boy Bed
Thank Goodness, I have a baby monitor!! :)

Antique Trucks
Of course, when I saw that one of the local farms was hosting an Antique Trucks/Tractors, I knew we would have to take Hayden. He definitely liked it!!

Family Movie Night-Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Since Hayden is getting SICK/BORED with watching movies, I wanted to come up with a fun activity for him, especially since he needs to limit his activity for a few more days! I had so much fun coming up with a theme for the movie that I think we might do this once or twice a month!
Meatball Relay that Fumble wanted to play too!
"Food Fight"
Cloudy with a Chance of Cupcakes and Fruit... Hayden wanted his cloud in the shape of a slug bug cloud!
Dessert... Cupcake Burger and Sugar Cookie Fries
You can't watch this movie with out Gummy Bears!
Movie Time!
Can't wait until the next Movie Night!

Preparing for Surgery
Tomorrow Hayden gets his Adenoids taken out and his Ear Tubes replaced. I know that this will be extremely helpful for Hayden, by decreasing his ear infections and help with his hearing & speech, but I am super nervous! To help him prepare for the surgery, we read a book about having our adenoids removed. We also walked through the steps of his surgery and he became Dr. Hayden with Linny his guinea pig! :)
Getting an ID bracelet
Linny has an ID Bracelet too
Taking Linny's Temperature
Dr. Hayden is removing Linny's adenoids
Mommy's "operating" on Hayden! He was a great patient!
Puddle Jumper
At what age do you avoid puddles? I always wonder this when Hayden goes straight for the puddle! I usually try to step over or around puddles, but at Hayden's age, he runs straight for them and laughs/smiles as he is stomping away! I LOVE it! So now we have specific boots to stomp in the puddles! :)

Ladybug Dome
A few weeks ago, we went to Toys R Us, and Hayden found a Ladybug Dome that he was adamant about having! After we arrived home, he was a little disappointed, to say the least, to find out that we had to order the ladybugs, and that they would take a few weeks to arrive. You could only imagine, how excited he was when he found out that his Ladybug Larvae had arrived!
He could have looked at them all day long if we let him! :)
After lunch, he wanted to continue to observe his Ladybug Larvae! We decided to keep a Journal and record everyday what he sees while they go through the metamorphic stages! He even asked to a draw a picture of them, which was super cute!! He calls himself an "antomogist" a.k.a. entomologist! :)
