Recent Haydenism's
Hayden's little personality is definitely changing! One big difference is that he is always talking :) Some of the things he says are hilarious...
"Mommy, let me tell you something about trucks."
"But I need a cookie, my tummy says I need to have one."
At Kohl's today... "Mommy, that man is NOT being very nice, he is being mean!" (Hayden says that very loud as a dad is reprimanding his daughter about 2 feet away from us, and can hear Hayden. :))
The funniest thing lately, are the songs Hayden hears on the radio (in Jake's car) and sings them as we are grocery shopping... I receive a few odd looks from the elderly women in the store...
"Take me down to the paradise city, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty, oh won't you please take me home, aaah, aaah!"
Last week, as I was blow drying my hair, Hayden says--- "Mommy, you look like Grandma."
Mommy--- "No I don't, Hayden".
Hayden--- "Well, you look a little like Grandma."

Happy Easter!!
Today, we had a WONDERFUL Easter! The morning began with Breakfast, Easter Egg Hunt, and Fun with our Baskets!
After our fun Easter Morning, we headed to Brookfield Zoo for Lunch with the Easter Bunny! Today we had perfect weather for a day at the Zoo!

Easter Eggs
Jake and I both had Good Friday off, so we spent the morning dying Easter Eggs and eating Yummy Easter Bunny cookies! This was the first year, that Hayden really enjoyed the egg decorating!!

Time to Ride
Since today was such a beautiful day, we decided to see if Hayden would be interested in riding his bicycle instead of his tricycle. Although he was excited when he walked into the garage and saw the new bicycle, he was also very hesitent!
However, he did a great job for his first time riding two wheels vs. three! He even cracked a smile a few times! :)
