We celebrated our first Halloween in NC. A few things are a little different here; as a teacher I am ecstatic that we don't have Halloween class parties, but as a parent I was a little disappointed to not see him in a class parade. Trick-or-treating starts a lot later here... 6:30-9:00, so we had a lot of time after school to have some Halloween fun. So we made taffy apples, played a few Halloween games, and watched the Great Pumpkin. Hayden was so excited to be able to run around outside when it was dark outside :), and even more happy to receive candy!
