Drive-In Movie

One of the adventures on our Sand Pail list was to go to the Drive-In.  This weekend, despite the non-summer like weather, we decided to head to the drive-in.  Since the closest drive-in is about 45 minutes away, we decided to play travel bingo, which helped the time fly-by!  Hayden did really well,

 and seemed to enjoy it! 

After we arrived at the drive-in, Jake and Hayden played catch with the football. Then right before the movie began, we had to fill up on concessions... which made Hayden very happy because he LOVES popcorn!!  Unfortunately, after our drive-in experience I will no longer be able to eat popcorn again.  Somehow a June Bug landed in the popcorn undetected... it also ended up in my mouth undetected until I bit into it!!!!!  Although, that will scar me for life, I was so touched with how Hayden reacted.  He felt so bad for me, and kept saying, "Sorry that happened, Mommy.  I just want you to be ok."... made my heart melt.

After a late night, he was still smiling & being silly when we arrived home. :)
