Only one more day until preschool!! After removing one of his last links on his countdown, Hayden checked his book bag. I used luggage tags to attach pictures of us on his back pack. That way, if he missed us or was sad at school, he could look at our pictures!! He seemed to like that idea. :) 
Tomorrow is Hayden's 1st Day of Preschool! I have such mixed emotions... I am EXTREMELY happy that I am able to stay home this year so he can go, but at the same time, I can't believe he is almost 3 1/2! :( To celebrate the beginning of the school year, we had a family school themed dinner! We made apple cupcakes, which turned out adorable! We also had Hayden's new favorite, PBJ sandwiches... aka... notebook paper/markers (I found edible markers to draw on your food... huge hit!) We also had number fruit snacks, letter tater tots, and pencil cheese sticks!
After dinner, we helped Hayden with his first homework assignment, which was a "getting to know you" activity. He was so excited and tried his hardest to make it colorful!
